wear out, and when this happens, refurbishing and re-coating is
the most logical way to keep your tooling costs down. Since we can
perform the repair and coating all under one roof , you can save
yourself shipping hassles and time, both of which should be important
considerations when choosing a vendor. Our state of the art CNC
grinding equipment allows our customers to enjoy like-new performance
from their refurbished tools. In addition to tool repair, we also
offer custom manufacturing for your special tooling requirements.

Treating
The metallurgical integrity of the substrate is critical to the
performance of any tool. Modern vacuum heat-treating protects the
surface from oxidation, making it suitable for coating. Richter
Precision Inc. offers its customers the highest quality vacuum heat
treating service available. Our Michigan facility boasts a 4,000
lb. capacity furnace that obtains maximum hardness through convection
heating. It provides six bar positive pressure quenching and controlled
cooling to maintain stability.
